The business goal was to be able to better forecast future needs for large shutdown/turnarounds in the Oil Sands, and plan the availability of labor and asset resources. Having the ability to find Labor and Asset resources among 16 branches in the Oil Sands instead of renting equipment lead to large cost savings benefits.FAM - Facility Area Management - This system was designed from scratch with the key stakeholder, the CEO, being the approver of design and all requirements.
