Professional in the communications field, I take pride in my work. I am involved in all aspects of our FTTH build out from receiving massive amounts of inventory into our warehouse and issuing it out the contractors. I'm tasked with reviewing and riding out the different projects, going over the As-staked sheets, riding the area out and red lining all corrections needed preconstruction. Once construction is complete, I receive the As-built sheets and then it is my job to get the new outside plant added to our existing mapping system accurately for use by the techs in the field and the contract locators in our service area. I am a first responder when our existing copper plant is damaged during construction and my job then is to repair and restore service fast and safely as possible. All that plus I see after my regular duties that entail working service orders, trouble tickets, calling in our locates for routine maintenance and for new installs, and i do it all with the attitude of less attack the day and a smile on my face.
