I think that the Operations Manager in a busy, growing business, is one of the most interesting and rewarding positions where a goal oriented multitask-er can find themselves. Part of my daily routine involves managing PFS's day to day operations by checking in with our various departments to make sure that they have everything essential to efficiently do their job. I ensure that our properties are well maintained, safe, and clean in order to provide a healthy work environment for our teams. Fleet management that encompasses maintenance, incident resolution, and repairs in our growing fleet of work vehicles, trailers, and equipment which operate in multiple states up and down the front range is also part of my responsibility. Additionally, inventory of assets, liability insurance navigation and management, building security, workers compensation, and safety/compliance are also part of my role in the organization. I love being busy, and truly appreciate the wide range of projects that I get to work on in order to keep my coworkers safe and productive while managing our growing operation.

The two main aspects of my current job are PLSS section breakdown, and GPS collection of cultural data. In these duties, attention to detail is crucial and I strive to be as detail oriented as possible as well as being flexible to the in-field changes that our clients produce.

As a Survey Tech for the BLM, I conducted retracement surveys. These surveys included researching previous surveys, and the corresponding original and dependent survey notes, setting monuments and posting property lines using GPS.
