Oversight of over 200 employees in the daily operations for pulling store orders and receiving product. Primary role to assist managing a zone with a focus on maintaining balance of Human Resources with other zones, safety within the zone, as well as productivity, accuracy, and overall organization of assigned zone. Performed 2nd interviews for potential new hires and training of all new employees. Worked with product buyers and developers to ensure that all products arrived to the stores in good condition.Understand the Human Resources process for both hourly and salaried employees from the hiring process to the end of employment.Lead, motivate and mentor staff through encouragement and positive reinforcement. Monitor daily and weekly on hand inventory and make adjustments as needed. Oversight of timeliness of reports, as well as employee time cards, performance reviews and corrective actions.
