I started my journey as a 19 year old sitting in a movie theater watching the upcoming trailers and said to myself, "I wonder who makes those trailers", and the rest is history.Creative marketing has been in my blood for the past 30 years leading branding initiatives and creative teams primarily in the media industry. Primarily within the marketing/on air promo departments from local tv to major networks. I had the privilege of leading the creative team at HGTV for the past 9 years as VP of Brand Creative responsible for setting the tone and direction for all creative content including on air promos, off channel paid media, print and digital in addition to production. Prior to HGTV, while living in Los Angeles was the VP/Creative Director On Air Promotion at Fox Broadcasting and prior to that was at the creative helm at ABC Entertainment as VP/Creative Director On Air Promo and Branding. I'm a media producer, visual storyteller, creative writer/producer and director who is hands-on in the creative development process from concept to execution. I enjoy nurturing and leading teams by example and believe a team first mentality always wins. My strengths are creative development, writing, directing, producing, promos, trailers, sizzles, team leadership, creative problem solving, design, branding and content creation. I've also dabbled in non linear editing and always enjoy learning new skills.Building brands, building up people, and doing work that matters is what it's all about. There's nothing more satisfying than starting with a speck of an idea followed by kicking it, pushing it, pulling it, tugging it, twisting it, debating it... until IT blossoms into something that makes you tingle. I just love the creative problem solving process, and doing it with my amazing teams. Whether it's developing creative in house or partnering on projects with vendors... we are all one until it's done.
