Tommy Lee is a Senior Consultant at Ey. He is proficient in Japanese. Colleagues describe him as "Tommy (Dian-Han) was my student at Tohoku University where I'm a faculty. Our CCaSS team is global and diverse. So, he closely with various members who were from different countries and had different background. He was friendly, so rapidly adapted to the work and our culture. He supported research and analysis for the client services. He can design way of research and analysis while understanding purpose and goal. In addition, his OA skills are well. Therefore, lots of managers were helped by him because they could get good quality of outcome quickly. I believe our members recognized his good communication, research and analysis skills. He is very active to get new experiences. He couldn't get an opportunity to work at EY without his demonstrating leadership and positive action. I'm sure he can grow fast and demonstrates leadership while building good relationships with various people. I appreciate for his efforts and assist to our team. Unlike other areas of EY Japan which have been functioning for years and have time-tested processes, Tommy joined the Climate Change and Sustainability Service (CCaSS) which is essentially a startup inside of EY. Tommy reported directly to me and I had him working with the CCaSS Advisory team. This team is one which requires team members to create new markets, solve client issues they never knew they had and to deliver advanced analytics for which there is no template - and often when there is no clear best practice available to judge against. In short, this is a team of creative problem solvers who have a wide variety of resources at their disposal and who aren't afraid of voicing their opinions. Tommy fit in perfectly. As an intern Tommy worked 4 days a week and was given responsibilities equal to full-time employees. He worked closely with specialists covering areas such as Human Rights, Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) strategy and Sustainable Supply Chain. He supported client engagements here in Japan and occasionally for the global CCaSS team as well. In addition to his client work, he was exceedingly helpful to me in my role as business development leader. He helped me analyze and do research on potential clients as well as create presentations. Overall, I have found that Tommy consistently delivers research above my initial expectations. In addition, he has strong EQ and excellent communication skills which helped him incorporate and manage feedback from the many diverse stakeholders on the team. I must admit some disappointment when Tommy told me he wanted to seek opportunities outside EY Japan as would have loved to hire him. That said, he goes with my complete support and belief that he will be a great asset to any team. I simply could not recommend him highly enough. "
