Oversaw strategic advocacy and policy work as well as internal and external communications for the organization, one of the largest affordable housing developers and homeless service providers in Los Angeles. Developed and executed fundraising and communications strategies in support of the campaign to build The Campus at LA Family Housing, a homeless services and housing hub for the region.

Responsible for the management of the $51 million capital campaign to build The Campus at LA Family Housing, as well as increasing the organization's engagement in the regional conversation around affordable housing and homelessness.

Developed and executed--with a robust team--the Yes on Measure H campaign's communications and stakeholder engagement strategies. Navigated the challenging environment of an off-cycle special election to secure earned print and digital media coverage as well as plan and produce a digital media strategy targeted at key voting groups. Helped ensure that Measure H became the only revenue measure to pass on a March ballot in the history of Los Angeles County.

Managed the United Way's campaign in support of L.A. County Measure H. Developed the framework and key campaign strategies that most effectively leveraged the United Way's presence in Los Angeles towards the goal of adding value and making an impact on the countywide campaign.

Provided strategic direction related to campaign management, communications, and voter engagement. Produced and coordinated a digital engagement campaign built around original video content. Manage the 100,000 personalized postcard direct mail campaign.

Provided counsel and strategic advice to the candidate as she assembled her campaign team. Coordinated and managed all components of the campaign team on a day to day basis, including fundraising, communications, field organizing, volunteer recruitment and management, and legal compliance. Assisted in raising nearly $800,000 in contributions while constrained by a $700 per entity contribution limit. Responsible for managing and tracking the nearly $1,000,000 combined budget.

Conducted a regulatory and market structure centered analysis of recent energy storage regulations that are being implemented in various markets around the country.

Conducted legal research and writing on energy related issues as they pertain to the City and County of San Francisco. These included both the energy procurement and pipeline safety practice areas.

Reported to Commissioner Mark Ferron's legal and energy policy advisors. Researched and analyzed the regulatory and public policy components of the State's Renewable Portfolio Standard, a goal which the Commission is responsible for implementing and monitoring.

Attended fifteen mediations and early neutral evaluations, serving as the mediator's assistant in each. Supported staff attorneys in their mediation preparation.

Managed the daily operations of the finance team, overseeing compliance with Federal Elections Commission regulations as well as generally keeping the trains on time.

Supported the Finance Director in his day to day management of the 35 person finance team. Responsibilities included short term projects, event staffing, research. The finance team raised $135 million in the 2008 election cycle.
