Use lab equipment such as an Oscilloscope, DAQ equipment, multi-meter, manometer, etc. to acquire data. Record and documents testing results in a timely manner and reviews findings with the engineers.Create complicated test fixtures. This includes electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems.Read electrical and piping schematics and applies to the construction of the test.Create simple control and data acquisition programs (VI’s). Maintains a work log and collects data from LabVIEW and instruments, and shares with engineers.Travel to support NPD Field Test Units, when needed. Create procedural documentation to assist the launch of new test parts, equipment, changes, etc. Operate and tune gas appliances in support of testing.Understand blower, ignitor, combustion parameters of gas ignition fryers & Combi ovens. Perform assembly of fryers, integrates test fixtures & test equipment to the fryers.Create, tend and report sophisticated tests. Then, report all results to Engineers and making suggestions and insights on what was seen.Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety policies.Consistently models the Company Values and Expected Behaviors.Completes other duties as assigned.

• Communicate with Service Technicians, Distributors, Owners, & Our Customers, to efficiently troubleshoot technical issues via Phone, Email, Video/Augmented Reality, or occasionally on site • Assists in troubleshooting processes and providing escalation/feedback/field data to appropriate personnel for NPD Units• On Call 24/7 to provide top-notch support for 2 different NPD/Test Units• As needed, urgent travel anywhere in the Country for on site NPD Support• Occasionally provide on site support for trade shows / conventions• Drafts technical procedure documents such as bulletins, instructions, knowledge articles, etc.• Uses effective follow-up techniques and maintains professional communications with customers to ensure that issues have been resolved to satisfaction• Drives continuous improvement throughout our after-sales network

My responsibilities varied by the day, the majority of my position was to find stock material and use the saw to cut them down to a general size for the full time machinist to create parts with but I also ran some machines as well. I do not know how to code but I am interested in it and understand it to a certain degree (x,y, and z). I had to check tolerances and verify quantity of parts for each package to be shipped out. I only left because I was working two jobs and O'Reilly offered me a promotion to Assistant Store Manager.
