I am currently a first-year biological sciences student at the University of Exeter, which involves a broad coverage of biological topics such as genetics, biochemistry, microbiology, etc, whilst developing key laboratory techniques with state of the art equipment. I have had a great deal of experience in a range of environments from being a sailing instructor where I've worked on teamwork skills whilst taking responsibility by running RYA stages 1-3, and I've been a Head of School and wellbeing ambassador where I worked closely with all members of the education system giving a voice to the pupils, and finally during my time as a volunteer at both Barnardos charity shop and disability sports Wales where I learnt many core values such as equality and diversity in a working environment.
