Designing, developing, and delivering diversity pipeline programs in conjunction with local community-based organizations to enhance the education and skillset of a culturally diverse workforce. The goal is to build a diverse talent pipeline of future managers, which will help to improve the lives of our clients, colleagues, and communities.

Managed National Mentoring Program grants with National 4-H Council while providing higher education and skilled trade program leadership for first generation, low income students.My accomplishments included: • Successfully implemented the 4-H Youth Futures initiative, a College Within Reach program located in the greater Kansas City area• Organized data used to track high school graduation, college acceptance, and college graduation rates of traditionally under-served students.• Boost county-wide awareness pertaining to 4-H Organizational Clubs and Special Interest Clubs and implement new programs to empower youth leadership in the Kansas City/Jackson County area.• Facilitate meetings and events for youth currently involved in 4-H programming while strategically expanding company brand to be inclusive to families who are not engaged with 4-H.

I implemented effective academic retention strategies to focus specifically on low income/first-year and under-represented minority students and developed an inclusive mentoring program using alumni to connect with traditionally under-served students.My accomplishments include:• Modified and developed innovative marketing and recruiting efforts to construct the Student Support Services program.• Oversaw grant budgeting and bookkeeping for Student Support Services program; connected students with additional resources such as racial and ethnicity awareness, cultural competency, career exploration, counseling, test preparation, tutoring, and mentoring services. • Established advanced academic retention programs to improve graduation rates for college students and intercollegiate athletic eligibility for student athletes.• Successfully organized events and social justice-related programs for students at Avila University and the greater Kansas City public.• Engaged with instructors, coaches, and faculty to assist students with scheduling and academic development.• Led ethnic and cultural relevant workshops to the students within the Student Support Services program and Avila University community.

I coached staff members and student athletes on social justice, diversity, and multicultural competency and played a key role in structuring and implementing diversity-focused panel discussions and workshops including “The Student-Athlete of Color Experience” for the University of Missouri Athletic Department.My accomplishments include:• Played a key role in resolving conflicts among student athletes and outside entities and facilitated social justice meetings and organizations geared towards better connecting the University of Missouri campus and the local Columbia community.• Created and organized course schedules by integrating and coordinating multiple academic and personal factors for 100 student athletes.• Aided in recruiting high-level student athletes to nationally-ranked athletic programs such as football, track & field, and wrestling.• Participated in weekly mentoring appointments with student athletes to safeguard against academic, personal, or social concerns. • Facilitated tutor and mentor meetings to maximize student athlete time and academic success.

Supported and guided 3-4 special needs students during specific class periods on a daily, rotating basis. Assisted with note taking, study skills, exam preparation, classroom behavior, and academic development. Utilized various techniques to increase student accountability and academic performance. Participated in personal development seminars geared towards cutting edge educational practices.

Attained at least 50 new memberships and 10 personal training packages per month.Secured and negotiated corporation memberships and packages for employees. Guided members and clients with strategies and techniques to improve health and fitness levels. Created individualized programs to maximize achievement of client goals and wellness.
