My contribution was focussed on the liquid metal cooling concept required for dealing with the immense heat production. To verify the principle of liquid metal cooling we build, integrated and tested with a scaled down cooling loop that could create representable conditions for the production facility. I am now working as a system engineer on a project for ASML. In this project DEMCON will deliver multiple qualification tools needed for the ramp-up of their NXT production capacity. In my role as system engineer I'm responsible for the technical side of the hardware delivery and need to ensure alignment with the software development. Show less

As Component Verification engineer I'm responsible for the electrical and optical qualification and selection of MEMS mirrors for application in the LiDAR demonstrators of Infineon. This includes feedback to the factory and packaging departments on common failure modes. Beside this I'm as technical lead responsible for the eye safety qualification of the complete LiDAR demonstrator according to the IEC 60825-1 standard.

I'm currently part of the Source Performance department of the EUV source D&E organisation. I'm the technical lead representing the EUV collection group in a multiple group effort to drive down the Mean Time Between Interrupts (MTBI) for the EUV collector mirror. In this role I'm responsible for the development and maintenance of the diagnostic roadmap and the delivery of diagnostic improvements.

I have been working on my graduation thesis. This was a 9-10 month collaboration project between the FOM institute AMOLF in Amsterdam and Philips Research in Eindhoven. The project was based on nanowire absorption for photovoltaic purposes. My results include angular dependent absorption measurements and a discussion of Mie theory.
