In working on the Yogaia service, I was in charge of overseeing the development of the website's front-end (a React web app) whilst also actively maintaining the Python backend. Test writing, analytics, optimisations and A/B testing are some of what consisted of my daily tasks. I was also a key contact point for customer support to help debug technical issues with users.

I built responsive, front-end solutions for stand-alone sites, as well as sites built on top of EPiServer, WordPress and Drupal content management systems. I worked closely with the backend team, as well as with the designers, to implement user interfaces to the clients' requirements.

As the sole web developer for Kirnauskis, I created frontend user interfaces for a range of clients. I also built the backend for several WordPress and Drupal environments.

On moving to Finland I set up and ran an internet-based fruit and vegetable home delivery service. The entire running of the business was solely my responsibility. I handled the design of the website and marketing material, promotion, order and payment processing, wholesale purchases, and customer deliveries.

This senior role gave me supervisory responsibility for the Visual Merchandising team in this flagship department store. I was in charge of designing and producing graphics and vinyl-signs for use both inside and outside of the store. The role included a significant degree of creativity, as I would have to develop and produce vinyl-based schemes around a project brief. Deadline-management was critical, as the fast pace of this Oxford Street store called for rapid responses to promotional events and shopper behaviour.
