I co-founded Winnemac labs along with two team members to consult with businesses and researchers to engineer and prototype their wireless sensing devices. As the sole mechanical engineer, I am responsible for designing and fabricating device enclosures and assemblies that enable the circuitry and hardware to function properly and meet the clients’ needs and preferences. As the team’s graphic designer I created the logo and brand style guide for the company, as well as the company website (winnemaclabs.com).

As the lab’s in-house mechanical engineer, I am responsible for inplementing embedded devices that are developed by the lab. As a component of a large DARPA project, I led a team of three mechanical designers in the development of a wearable system designed to sense circadian rhythm and control dosing from a bioelectronic implant. I help design and fabricate prototypes of battery-free computing devices that harvest energy from their environments in order to function. I also create technical figures to quickly convey complex scientific concepts in research papers and grant proposals
