Storyz was founded in Australia in 2006, with over $8.5m of funding from Motorola Ventures and DSF Investment. In 2009 I completed the acquisition of Storyz social media platform.

I founded and led Adeye from the acquisition of Storyz to its position as one of the leading mobile media companies within mobile advertising and social media. Key clients included leading ad agencies (WPP group, Publicis, Isobar) and direct advertisers (Bing, EA, SonyEricsson, Flirtomatic, Fox Mobile). I delivered over 50 mobile ad campaigns and more than 1 billion ad impressions to clients, from offices in the US, UK and Australia. As Chief Executive my responsibilities included M&A, business planning, strategy, financial performance, product development and design. As a pioneer in the sector, I was also responsible for speaking at events by Internet World, AdTech and Informa.

I delivered a contract on behalf of the investment company which owned Spiced Bits (now ShouJi Mobile Ent), in order to build their presence in the EMEA mobile gaming market. Over the course of six months, I took the company from being a small developer to making games for leading organisations, including EA Mobile and Glu. Now Shouji Mobile Entertainment.

In this role I was responsible for the roll-out of new gaming retail establishments, as well as the build of an online retail environment. My role included everything from designing the logo to designing the stores.

While managing the Norwegian arm of Eyegonomic, I was responsible for assisting Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace on a project with the US Army. Under my management, the Norwegian arm of the company was one of the best-performing division.

I was responsible for the company´s UK investments and acted as either chairman or board member for the majority of the companies involved in online and digital technology. I also undertook the role of Interim CEO for some of the portfolio companies.

I was part of the founding management team of Nameplanet and later of the spin-off Global Name Registry, the first private company to sell the top-level .NAME domain. It was backed by FourSeason, Northzone Ventures and eCarlyle. Nameplanet was sold to Netidentity (now Tucows) and GNR was sold in 2008 to VeriSign.
