- Developed and implemented multiple features on the GSM/UMTS DMS-MSC node in accordance with development life cycles from requirements through unit and integration testing.- Feature Developed and Implemented.: > Camel Phase 3 DCSI - Implemented DCSI into the Nortel GSM/UMTS Core. > MSC Support for GTT/TTY on UMTS - Implemented code to support GTT/TTY calls in the UMTS R4 network per North American Standards. > Compression on BICN - Implemented Nortel's proprietary implementation of TrFO. It entailed being able to set the compression rates for an establishing call across the call so that the bearer could be established properly. > Outgoing Trunk Lawful Intercept Monitoring - Implemented the SORM requirement to monitor calls on trunks connecting the Wireless Network to the PSTN Network based on wild carded Dialed Numbers. ( Required for Russian Legal Intercept) > SORM Lawful Intercept non compliances (MSC) - Implemented requirements from the SORM standard. (Required for Russian Legal Intercept)- Provided support for the GSM/UMTS product is multiple areas in the form of debugging and implementation of fixes for the issues found.- Code Subsystem Owner including Call Waiting, Compression, and Lawful Intercept. Duties entailed monitoring code for issues, maintaining the codes integrity, attending design meetings and reviews of other features that interact with this code, and approving or denying all changes from other people based on the merits of the change desired.- Implemented and maintained several Lawful Intercept related services for both US and non-US customers.- Served as technical SME for Call Waiting, IN (DCSI mostly), Compression, GTT/TTY and Lawful Intercept.
