As a neuroscience researcher at University College London (UCL) with over 11 years of experience, I am driven by the curiosity and passion to understand the mechanisms and functions of the brain. My research focuses on the pharmacological and biophysical properties of AMPA-type glutamate receptors and auxiliary proteins, which mediate fast excitatory signalling throughout the brain. I use patch-clamp electrophysiology, molecular approaches, and advanced data analysis to investigate the properties of recombinant and synaptic receptors in different experimental models.In addition to conducting cutting-edge research, I also enjoy teaching and mentoring students in neuroscience. I have developed a role as a lecturer and tutor at UCL, where I share my knowledge and skills with the next generation of scientists. I have also presented my data at national and international conferences and published my findings in prestigious scientific journals. Through these activities, I have honed my communication and collaboration skills, as well as my ability to disseminate complex information to diverse audiences.
