Tommy is a Manager in the Deal Advisory & Strategy Practice at KPMG and has a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy from Auburn University.He specializes in providing advisory services to insurance clients, covering mergers and acquisitions, technical accounting, capital market readiness, reinsurance transactions, and accounting change initiatives. He has assisted on several transactions involving life and annuity, property and casualty, health care payer, and financial guaranty segments, as well as divestitures of a variable annuities platform. He has also supported public debt and equity offerings, drafted white papers, accounting policies, confidential information memorandums, and other various investor and executive presentations.Before joining the Deal Advisory & Strategy Practice, Tommy was a Senior Audit Associate at KPMG, where he gained experience in auditing under PCAOB standards and IFRS, STAT, and U.S. GAAP accounting standards. He served as the in-charge senior associate for a large SEC insurance client and on a component audit for a global engineering, procurement, and construction company. He has handled complex accounting issues such as ASC 944, IFRS 15, ASC 606, and large debt transactions.
