Intrepid Inc., founded in 2009 by Blair Underwood and Tommy Morgan Jr. have produced a myriad of entertainment projects, on multiple platforms. Blair and Tommy executive produce a show called “Give” on NBC, currently in season two, that just won them their first Emmy Award.In addition to creating content for feature films, television, commercials and theatre, Intrepid recently ventured into virtual reality, winning a Clio Award for their work with legendary rock band Megadeth.As head of operations at Intrepid Inc., I was responsible for, but not limited to the following: ● Created, or helped Ideate all of the intrepid’s visual materials. ● Spiritually motivated, and coached actors and staff. ● Supervised all operations from development, to post production. ● Consulted with talent agents concerning all affairs regarding Intrepid Inc.. ● Raised funding for several of Intrepid Inc. productions. ● Read, researched and assessed ideas and finished scripts. ● Commissioned writers, or secured the rights to novels, plays and screen plays. ● Built, and developed our company contacts. ● Laise and discuss projects With agents, managers, and financial backers. ● Hired key staff, including director and crew. ● Ensure project remained compliant with all city, and state regulations. ● Secured production permits, and insurance. ● Supervised color correction, Foley and sound related aspects of postproduction. ● Wrote storylines, ensuring content could be factually correct. ● Assisted in the creation of production budgets. ● Managed overall logistics of delivering people, resources and equipment to locations. ● Followed through with all assignments, that have been delegated by the network executives. ● I would attend all casting sessions, meetings, rehearsals and shoots. ● Negotiated Deals with all above the line talent. ● Provided private coaching to actors, and producers.
