IT is currently everywhere, and new ways of applying technology are disrupting most businesses around the world. Traditional companies are having a real struggle to cope with the rapid changes that surrounds their competitive landscape. Be bold and firm, or be out of business within a few years time. Success depends on finding new business models, getting to know your customers, hiring the best people and letting them implement fresh new ideas. I’ve witnessed this from up-close, and it takes great courage from leaders to make necessary decisions to explore the unknown, unproven and undisclosed – the land where the company can remain prosperous and deal with the new competition. I work in the consultancy company BOLDR, a company that I founded myself after having been in the consultancy business for many years. I want to work on exciting assignments and contribute, test myself, learn and still have some freedom to enjoy life along the way.My experience is within system development, architecture, project management, product management as well as strategy and line-management. Technology is within my core and I use my broad experience to understand both business problems and technological challenges. Both technological choices, architecture and infrastructure as well as requirements specifications, leadership and framework conditions are essential parameters in IT development. The parameters also influence on each other, and it is fundamental to see the bigger picture. Still, in modern iT the people are the main assets, and the levels of skills, collaboration and interaction between these people will always be the most important parameters for great results.
