CurrentAssist with maintenance of data/voice network (LAN & WAN) in collaboration with vendors and technology partners, performing day to day switching/routing and other related configuration changes.Assist with the maintenance of the shared Dell EMC Block and File Storage systems (including disaster recovery environment).Assist with the maintenance of the physical and virtual server infrastructure (including HPC) for the Baker Institute and Burnet Institute (including disaster recovery and development environments).Maintain and develop all Windows and Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS) to maintain a 99.999% uptime service.Assist with the management, coordination, and implementation of software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware.Work in conjunction with the Head of IT Infrastructure, Cyber Security Analyst and Senior Systems Administrator to maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments.Fault finding, analysis and logging of information for reporting of performance issues.Proactively monitor system performance and assist with capacity planning using existing monitoring infrastructure.Work in conjunction with IT collaboration partners to assist in maintaining and optimising shared network and multi-tenant systems.Keep abreast of emerging technologies and determine their benefits/suitability to the institute and provide advice on these to the Head of IT Infrastructure.Work in conjunction with the IT team to manage the M365 Tenancies for both Institutes. This includes assisting staff with M365 queries, providing advice, and working on M365 powered projects.Work in conjunction with the IT team to manage the Active Directory of both Institutes. This includes ADFS, LDAP, AAD/M365 integration, MFA as well as UNIX ID integration.Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs.
