As Enterprise Co-ordinator, I project manage the People Skills programme. This project, run in conjunction with CIPD and the J.P.Morgan Foundation, looks to provide fully funded HR support and consultancy to SMEs across Stoke-on-Trent. As part of this, I also run the Chamber's HR Forum, which looks to understand the people issues facing business and identifying potential solutions and lobby actions to raise with local, national and European policy makers.I also manage the running of the Staffordshire Manufacturer's Forum, which looks to provide best practice learning and networking for manufacturers across the county. This is achieved through a range of site visits, and seminars on a variety of topics.My role also includes the co-ordination and management of Ceramic Development Limited, a company set up to develop the Ceramic industry across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire. This includes providing signposting to the range of support available, proving funding for product development or trade shows and hosting training and event on a issues affecting the sector.Finally, as Enterprise Co-ordinator, I am also heavily involved in the Chamber's business start-up programmes, supporting people in taking their first steps into the world of business.

In my role as Sector Co-ordinator, I touch on a variety of different topics. My main focus is to support the Ceramics sector in signposting them to the variety of help that is on offer and how they can benefit. I also undertake the role of Policy Adviser at the Chamber. In this role, I take the views of our members and businesses and feed them through to local, national and European policy makers. This can see me having meetings with local Councillors, MP's, MEPs and Cabinet members. I am also in c arge of all survey work undertaken by the Chamber, producing an quarterly economic survey and report. I also support the Chamber in producing press releases and other PR campaigns.

In this role I take the views of our members and businesses and feed them through to local, national and European policy makers. This can see me having meetings with local Councillors, MP's, MEPs and Cabinet members. I am also in charge of all survey work undertaken by the Chamber, as well as producing press releases and supporting the Chamber's PR.
