About Tomas Nordin

My studies was in the field of mechatronics, automation and embedded systems. Iwas getting good grades in all core subjects at the university, not because itis easy for me, but because I worked full time with my studies, had a highinterest and a drive to understand the subjects as good as possible.Since my graduation I have been working at Scania as a test engineer with wheelbrakes. This has been very developing for me because it has much of mechanicalengineering in it, which was not so much of my studies.On my free time I play the drums in a band sometimes, hang with friends othertimes. The rest of the time free I spend with programming, mainly in python andsome C. I also spend time in learning the GNU/Linux operating system, a neverending project. I am on Debian. Actually, I spend embarrassing amounts of freetime computing ever since my studies.
