1st Rotation | Corporate Integration, Corporate Development: Post-merger integration of multiple acquisitions

During the Summer Finance Internship at EF's HQ in Zurich, Switzerland, I was part of the finance team overseeing EF's language schools. My tasks and responsibilities included:• Responsible for managing and improving the refund process for EF’s language schools• Managed multiple efficiency projects using SQL and VBA• Performed financial statement analysis and assisted in monthly and quarterly closing tasks

The Württembergische Versicherung AG is one of the major german insurance companies. I worked in the Sales management & controlling department, and managed various projects from planning to implementation. Responsibilities included:• Assistant to department manager, worked at the intersection of actuarial mathematics and salesmanagement & controlling• Developed VBA analytics tool for comission and salary planning, HR processes and salescontrolling, managed entire rollout and implementation

I conducted a worldwide market potential analysis for a leading provider of solutions forlithium-ion battery logistics.
