After building up our UX consulting practice in Tokyo, I relocated to Paris in September 2014 to start AQ's first office outside of Japan. I serve as the strategic back office for the company, and manage our research business while tackling exploratory projects with partners in Europe to advance our design practice. I'm available for assignments, with a preference for joining ambitious, inter-cultural project teams with an iterative and collaborative mindset. Get in touch!

AQ is a small team of designers, developers and researchers. We design imaginative digital products and services that help people do great things and learn from the world around them. Starting in 2009, I conceived and managed dozens of digital projects with AQ's clients and partners, while serving in user experience design and content strategy roles for many of these projects. In 2012, I co-launched a UX consulting package that greatly diversified our client portfolio. I also stabilized production resources by doubling the size of our partner network via aggressive recruitment and standardized process and tools.

Greaterthan's mission is to increase awareness of participatory practices, and make self-management and decentralized governance the clear choice for organizations.

In Spring 2021, I co-delivered the Greaterthan course "Advanced Facilitation: Liberating Structures Intensive".

Hosting experiential professional development programs, in partnership with fellow coach Oriana LaVilla. Our flagship program is Navigating Emotions at Work — a 9-week, online group coaching program to help our clients develop their emotional literacy with curiosity and care.

EDA is an independent European strategic design consultancy. We help our clients shape their future, co-creating rapid innovation pilots and enabling complex enterprises to renew themselves. We design whatever is needed to deliver.I am a frequent collaborator of EDA, bringing product strategy, design research and facilitation skills to projects on topics such as organizational culture change (Toyota Motor Europe), innovation in the employee experience (AccorHotels) and building the digital workplace (Deutsche Telekom).

The Intersection Group is a non-profit association that helps people create better enterprises. I advise on the design of the Intersection Toolkit, a coherent set of practical tools that help enterprises improve their Identity, Experience and Architecture. In 2020, I was a reviewer for our first publication, "Enterprise Design Patterns: 33 Ways to Radically Increase Your Impact on the Enterprise".

Global Voices is a community of hundreds of writers, analysts, online media experts and translators. We curate, verify and translate trending news and stories you might be missing on the Internet, from blogs, independent press and social media in 167 countries.I managed a small team of writers to publish English articles, shedding insight on cultural and social issues from the Japanese blogosphere, as part of the global citizen media network.
