An International Organisation Partner (IOP) of the Convention on Wetlands, WWT creates environmental change through policy, guidance, demonstration, evidence and awareness.My role is to grow WWT's international impact, coordinating cross-sectoral partnerships and directly managing teams in Europe, Asia and Africa. Lead role in the strategic planning, management and delivery of outputs, milestones and outcomes of WWT’s International Programmes. Responsible for the financial management of a departmental budget, including monitoring, scrutinising, reviewing and re-forecasting and reporting. High-level relationship building and responsible for management of engagement with governments, funders and partner organisations, including representing WWT at multi-lateral environmental platforms (e.g. the Convention on Wetlands) and specialist advisory groups (e.g. Green Climate Fund). Member of WWT Senior Management Team, contributing to organisational strategy development, risk management, generating efficiencies, and reporting to Council. Established international offices in Cambodia and Madagascar, including governance structures, legal compliance, financial management, policies and procedures. Management of a diverse multi-disciplinary team of 30 people located over three continents. Show less
