An International Organisation Partner (IOP) of the Convention on Wetlands, WWT creates environmental change through policy, guidance, demonstration, evidence and awareness.My role is to grow WWT's international impact, coordinating cross-sectoral partnerships and directly managing teams in Europe, Asia and Africa.  Lead role in the strategic planning, management and delivery of outputs, milestones and outcomes of WWT’s International Programmes. Responsible for the financial management of a departmental budget, including monitoring, scrutinising, reviewing and re-forecasting and reporting. High-level relationship building and responsible for management of engagement with governments, funders and partner organisations, including representing WWT at multi-lateral environmental platforms (e.g. the Convention on Wetlands) and specialist advisory groups (e.g. Green Climate Fund). Member of WWT Senior Management Team, contributing to organisational strategy development, risk management, generating efficiencies, and reporting to Council.  Established international offices in Cambodia and Madagascar, including governance structures, legal compliance, financial management, policies and procedures.  Management of a diverse multi-disciplinary team of 30 people located over three continents.
