A 10-week work placement primarily based on designing a website for Aberdeen FC with Sotic. This involved sourcing statistics from a MySQL database filled with football data, and developing formulae to assist a Data Engineer with specific team and player last game and season stats for the website.In addition to this, I helped with restructuring the fleet sailing rankings for the WSO (World Sailing Organisation). This required problem-solving with regard to the initial draft of the new sailing ranking structure. Whereby I provided feedback and creative solutions to the mathematical, statistical and applied problems posed.
