I am a local business owner, web developer & entrepreneur - passionate about transforming the community around me into a place that we can be proud to live & work within.I grew up in North Rockland. My Grandfather had a bike store in NY for a total of 60 years. In between playing Super Mario Brothers on my Nintendo in the back of the shop at the age of seven, I started helping him build & repair bikes; during those 15+ years, I deepened my customer service, technical, & managerial skills.After college I had several careers, notably Instructor at Rockland BOCES – where I still teach a few night classes per year since 2001, such as Microsoft Excel & Quickbooks Online.In 2007 I started Rockland Web Design Inc. - the umbrella company for our operations. Our teams build & maintain websites, & create/deploy digital marketing programs. We also create business development programs, as well as run group & individual training classes to learn how to best leverage technology. These are aimed primarily at small businesses with less than 50 employees, because our passion & drive remain with them.I am a founder of both the North Rockland and Highlands Chambers of Commerce. I also work in several other networking groups & organizations in various capacities, such as the Workforce Development Board, ProMetroNet, & the North Rockland Academy of Finance. I think my best strengths are business development, & online IT. My biggest weakness is my chronic inability to properly tell a joke.In my spare time I am an avid drummer. I enjoy playing with several bands – we’ve done lots of events & fundraisers in the past several years, notably the Stony Point Seals Polar Plunge, the Nanuet Street Fair, & even open mic jams all over Rockland. Music is a gift from God! I also enjoy chess, video games & movies in my spare time, as well as working out as much as time permits in the gym or on my road bike when I want to head up to Bear Mountain.Thanks for taking time to read this. =)
