Wrote converter programs to change a C++ application into a Java bean based relational database application. The conversion process was to transfer the C++ structures into database tables, then transform them into a new database relational model. I was also directly responsible for creating the model and the transformation SQL to move the data from the flat structure into the new relational model. The conversion program converts the ANSI SQL files and database DDL into either Oracle, MSSQL or Cloudscape (a pure java database implementation). The java application reads the database schema and outputs an XML & annotated XML templates. These then are used to generate a database access layer of classes as the interface to the database of choice.
