Tomoyuki “Tomo” Takada,(BS, MS, MBA) is an entrepreneur, educator, and author. As a Partner at Antler, an early stage global VC, Tomo helps entrepreneurs at stage zero, creating an environment where progress is inevitable. Leveraging his multifaceted proficiency encompassing strategy, engineering, programming, design thinking, and manufacturing, Tomo continually discovers his "Ikigai" – his source of joy in nurturing Japanese entrepreneurship.Previously, as an executive committee member at Moon Creative Lab, an incubation studio by Mitsui, Tomo evaluated pitches, helped intrapreneurs formulate their zero to one business plan, and conducted due diligence.In 2017, Tomo founded LIVERUN, a fitness service that instructs and motivates people to prepare for the Centenarian Olympics. Within three years, LIVERUN fostered a vibrant community and attained profitability. Over a five-year span, LIVERUN's live classes drew the participation of 1 million participants.Earlier, Tomo helmed NGB, his business development consulting firm. NGB brought Yelp to Japan, executing a successful country launch, and led Yelp Japan as the Managing Director. At Ford Motor Company, he was placed in their Product Development Leadership Program.
