About Thomas Page

Legal: Qualified as lawyer in 1998 with CMS Cameron McKenna, elected Partner in 2007 and appointed as the Head of Hotels & Leisure group in 2008. Since 1998, I have advised clients on medium to large mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate finance transactions, ranging in value from £5 million to £2 billion in predominantly the Hotels & Leisure, but also the Technology, Real Estate and Funds sectors. Author of the "Little Blue Book on Hotel Management Agreements". I intend to build on our current ranking as the best Hotels practice in Europe to become the pre-eminent global legal practice in the Hotels industry.Underbelly: Non-executive director and founder shareholder since incorporation in 2001. Underbelly has grown from nothing to become one of the largest comedy, theatre and music venues at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, as well as operator of the London Wonderground and Udderbelly venue as part of Southbank Centre's summer festival season in London and the Edinburgh Christmas festivities and a number of other smaller events.Specialties: Hotel & leisure M&A acquisitions/disposals; hotel & leisure financings, refinancings and restructurings; hotel management agreements and franchise agreements; general mergers & acquisitions; joint ventures and corporate finance.
