As a Founding Partner and Advisor at Summit Trail Advisors, I work with an elite group of entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, real estate families, finance professionals, business owners and foundations, providing holistic advice on investments, tax matters, and estate planning. In addition to my work with Summit Trail, I am a current and active member of the San Francisco Estate Planning Council, a Board Advisor of the UC Davis Foundation, a Board Member of Trans Pacific Networks and on the Finance Board at Holy Names University Endowment. Prior to founding Summit Trail, I was a Director at Barclays Wealth in San Francisco, where my partner and I built and led the largest team on the West Coast.

It was the most transparent bank I could find. We built and managed the largest team on the West Coast and I was later nominated by my national peer group to co-chair the Barclays Investment Advisory Committee which was a group of our 30 most influential advisors in the United States. This role took me to London and New York often to work hand in hand with management on strategic issues and objectives which would help better serve our clients. -

This was post Summer Associate roles at both Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley Private Wealth. Goldman was time and time again said to be the best place to get trained and so that is what I did...and everyone was right! My first year was really an extension of business school and we studied all the important matters that wealthy families deal with. At the end of my first year, I was responsible for landing the largest ever cash mandate in the history of the San Francisco office from a family that sold their business to a San Francisco based Private Equity firm. I carry the tools I learned at Goldman with me today and owe the firm credit for providing a great support network to start and guide my professional career. -

I started as a sales rep in the Bay Area, was then promoted after 6 months to manage the San Francisco peninsula, and then a year later to manager the East Bay to Tahoe and up north to the Oregon border.
