I have spent over three decades in capital markets and financial services. Amongst peers and colleagues I have become well-regarded as someone who has demonstrated excellence in credit products. I have built and managed several global businesses--these include Investment Grade Corporates, Hybrids, Preferred Stock, Private Placements, High Yield, Distressed and Bank Loans, among others. Earlier in my career, as a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers, I hired, trained and developed a specialty team of traders. We succeeded in creating significant revenue in certain Fixed Income products for many years. My success resulted in my appointment to the Fixed Income Operating Committee. In 2009 I embarked on a new adventure, building and running fixed income trading department at CF Global. This led to my hiring as President at Imperial Capital in 2011, a position I served for 8 years. Part of my responsibilities and success there were again hiring and building our global fixed income capabilities, as well as becoming regarded as the one of the only boutique investment bank with a stronghold in certain global credit products. Outside of work, I have been heavily involved in the Harvard Schools and Scholarships Committee since 1986. For 15 of those years I served as Chair of this committee for Long Island. Main responsibilities were recruiting and training alumni interviewers, as well as the organization, distribution and actual interviewing of applicants. During my tenure I have been a strong proponent of equal opportunity and access to education. I have also served as President of the Harvard Club of Long Island from 2008-2010.
