My practice includes entertainment and business law transactions, litigation, and appeals in all Florida state courts.I am a member of The Florida Bar, and also a member of the the Florida Bar Business Law and Appellate Practice sections, the Entertainment, Arts, & Sports Law section where I served as Chairperson for the 2021-2022 term, and the Recording Academy (the Grammy Awards) where I currently serve on the Board of Governors of the Florida Chapter. Other current or past memberships include the American Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, the Seminole County Bar Association, the Seminole Inn of Court, the Florida Justice Association, and the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association.I have lectured at continuing legal education seminars for the Florida Justice Association, The Florida Bar Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Section, the Nova Southeastern University Sports and Entertainment Law Symposium, and, for over fifteen years I was a panelist, sponsor, and host for the annual Florida Music Festival’s music industry conferences. I also regularly guest-lecture at Barry Law School, the University of Central Florida, and Full Sail University.I have the honor of having been chosen by my peers in multiple years as one of Florida Trend magazine’s Florida Legal Elite, and as the top entertainment attorney in Central Florida for the Orlando Business Journal’s Annual “Best of the Bar.”I play bass guitar and did so professionally for many years. My experiences as a professional musician have given me considerable insight into the music business and an appreciation of the industry from the musician’s perspective.
