I led the implementation of an online virtual Commerce tool (Beauty makeover) allowing P&G consumers to try before buying the Clairol products (hair colourants) on their own hair. If the consumer was happy with the suggested result, buying options were then suggested for the shopper to buy the virtually tried product from a UK retailer.I coordinated the P&G Clairol Sales and Marketing team to understand the business requirements of the Virtual Beauty makeover tool. Those requirements became the technical inputs required for the design agency to customise and implement the virtual tool via an iFrame onto two P&G websites (Educational - www.supersavvyme.co.uk) and Marketing (www.clairol.co.uk - now divested to Coty Inc).I delivered this project within 3 months (on time) and on budget, and the Virtual Beauty makeover tool went on to be used for several years, helping the Clairol brand to be innovating as the Dot.com channel started to see double figure sales growth YoY.

As a new P&G graduate following a successful internship the year before, my first P&G assignment was a technical role combining Finance and SAP ERP knowledge, communication, team work and project management skills. The objective was to integrate the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes of local teams across Europe (Belgium, France, Italy & Spain) from the acquired businesses into the main P&G ERP framework. The role required to build a huge amount of Finance knowledge to drive the data collection, solution design and build, followed by validation of the solution. Collaborating with the local teams was key, to leverage as much as possible their expertise while transitioning the processes to a standard and automated design within P&G ERP structure. The project was implemented successfully on time / budget, with no impact to payment collections (no defects) and saving local FTE's to be redistributed to more skilled jobs.
