Associate Ecologist with eight seasons of experience and full membership of CIEEM. Specialising in protected species survey (particularly for bats), mitigation (EPSML / BER AL1) and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments using Defra Metrics. Responsible for delivery of projects and their technical inputs for a wide range of schemes in different sectors including linear and transport, residential, energy, highways, airports, rail and private. Holder of the following protected species licenses & additional skills:- Bat Class 2 / 4 Licence (England, Wales, Scotland)- Bat Earned Recognition (BER) AL1, Annex A- Great Crested Newt Class 2 Licence (England, Wales, Scotland) - Great Crested Newt Box Trap Licence (England)- Barn Owl Class Licence (England)- CS38 Tree Climbing & Aerial Rescue QualifiedTechnical experience in habitat surveys and assessment, animal species surveys (including: aquatic invertebrates, badgers, barn owl, bats, great crested newts, reptiles, otter, water vole and white-clawed crayfish) and associated reporting. In addition, the undertaking of higher level assessments such as BNG assessments, Ecology ES Chapters / EcIA and Habitats Regulations Assessments.
