Designed, implemented and deployed a real time data harvesting and analysis product used to guide polymer and other chemical reactions. Data is polled from an OPC server, instant analysis performed and the raw and derived data persisted in a time series database for post-reaction analysis. Features included compensating for delay time experienced by the suite of sensors so that data analysis was time aligned. Written in Java, the product was designed with configurability and extensibility as primary features.

Code development for web application used to manage offshore oil well permitting and operations for Department of Interior. Assigned to more complex aspects of the project using Java, Vaadin 8, Git, TFS, and Oracle database. Activities include database structure modifications, custom components to capture business rules in user interface that reduces server processing. Mentoring junior employees on best practices, assisting the team lead.

High level systems analysis and design for Navy meteorological and oceanographic projects. Software design implementation and remediation on web applications using ESRI, database and user interface frameworks. Implemented data gathering and decoding of profiling open floats, provided general network infrastructure support, re-implemented pricing and performance models for greater performance and stability. Embedded and user facing software development controlling and presenting information from airborne bathymetric LiDAR systems. Major contributor to a large portion of the software that runs on or interacts with the CZMIL (Coastal Zone Mapping and Imaging LIDAR) System. The system contains multiple Linux PC. Developed a diagnostic and control feature using a Glassfish web server, an operator application in C#, and was mostly complete on a successor operator application that used JavaFX for flight routing and coverage mapping.
