Employed within the Manager Selection Team responsible for selecting third funds for investment with key experience in fixed income, property, and UK Equity Income sectors. Fixed Income sectors are core skill and experience ranges from money market funds to Emerging Market Debt fund managers.Also involved in Investment Strategy across a variety of client and product profiles, in particular in advising Portfolio Managers on style blend and tactical investment solutions.Strong investment commentary skills is a core requirement as well as the ability to remain very customer focused.Mentoring and training of colleagues was also a regular feature of my role, and I continue to be regarded as a core source of investment expertise within the company.

Employed as a fund researcher and selector for internal asset pools and for retail fund of funds products. Key focus on fixed income funds covering a wide range of sub-sectors including Investment Grade Credit, High Yield, Absolute Return, Money Market, and Emerging Market Debt. Also covered UK Commercial Property and UK Equity sectors.Key contributor to investment strategy across a range of client products and investment profiles. Daily input into core institutional managed asset products. Contributor to tactical asset allocation and fund strategies, investment commentary, and style blending of multi-asset blends.Provided strong support and leadership in evolving and developing new investment themes, providing both qualitative and quantitative research, and having the capability of executing these investment themes from genesis to an operationally accessible investment.The role required good inter-personal skills required in investigating and analysing investments and the ability to discuss, and inter-act with investment professionals at a very informed level of dialogue.

Employed as a fund researcher and selector to provide investment solutions to the Private Bank's wealth products. Key investment sectors included Fixed Income, UK Commercial Property, UK Equity, European Equity, and Alternative investments.The role included being a contributor to the investment risk profiles and services being offered to high net worth clients, in order to construct and manage portfolios of assets.The role required good analytical skills and the ability to undertake qualitative and quantitative research to identify and select appropriate fund investments.The role also required the ability to negotiate with fund managers, compose and complete legal documentation and to manage internally the operational set up.Additionally the role included providing regular investment commentary and responding to client investment enquiries, supporting investment presentations, and sales pitches.

Employed as an Investment Manager to research investments and provide portfolio management for high net worth clients of the offshore Private Bank. Investment research included bond and fund investments which were suitable for client risk profiles.The role required providing good qualitative and quantitative research and the ability to develop and evolve strong relationships with bond dealers and fund management companies.Providing investment commentary, conducting weekly investment video conferences, and supporting the Trust Company and Relationship Managers with investment and strategy content for client visits was a core skill.
