Raffa, P.C., which I led as the CEO, was an accounting, consulting and technology firm headquartered in Washington, D.C. dedicated to service and community. As a B-Corp certified, national Top 100 CPA advisory firm specializing in nonprofits and socially-responsible businesses, Raffa provided support to help organizations across the country effectively and efficiently manage their most critical processes. With over $1.5B in assets under advisement, Raffa Investment Advisers serves the investment and fiduciary needs of 140+ nonprofits and associations. Our team of knowledgeable advisers has a genuine desire to help our clients achieve their goals. They're living our mission to bring transparency, clarity and accountability to nonprofit and association-focused investment services.In 2016, Raffa launched a practice to support social entrepreneurs and investors.In 2018, Raffa, P.C., and Raffa Technologies merged with one of the largest accounting and consulting firms in the US, MARCUM, to become Raffa-Marcum's Nonprofit and Social Sector Group. We were excited to expand our reach to effect positive change through the United States and the world. Before the merger, Tom Raffa spun out a small group of entrepreneurs from Raffa Solutions which is now trading as ThinkNimble, a computer consulting company that works with businesses focused on social mission to develop the technology and AI that drives their operations.In 2021, Tom sold RFSI, which had grown to be one of the larger insurance agencies in Washington, DC to The Hub. RFSI continues in our tradition to support the nonprofit and social sector within all lines of insurance and retirement.In 2021, Tom Raffa helped to put together a team of visionary young professions to form PIERAG Consulting, a holding company based in India dedicated with over 150 professionals delivering world-class services in Assurance, Accounting and Risk Advisory to some of the top CPA and management consulting firms in the US.
