Tom is currently responsible for business development and marketing activities for MySep Pte Ltd. He has been at the forefront of introducing product capabilities to many Upstream, Midstream and Downstream customers. In addition, he has collaborated closely with MySep’s partner engineering software vendors, to coordinated the approach to product interfacing and go-to-market. He has advised on product development strategies for the MySep-Studio and MySep-Engine products. Tom is increasingly focused on industry needs for digitalization in applications where rigorous separation within process simulation is essential to efficient overall optimisation of design and operations.An experienced engineer and manager with deep knowledge of process heat transfer equipment and expanding experience of phase separation technology, his interests go to the heart of process modelling in the context of engineering design and operations. Tom has a track record of software Product Management, developing strategy for product innovation, supporting research and go-to-market for the Aspen Exchanger Design and Rating (EDR) tools. He led the merging of HTFS and B-JAC families to produce 3rd generation design software for heat transfer equipment design and simulation that became the Aspen EDR product family. He was pivotal in bringing sophisticated integration of these with the Aspen HYSYS® and Aspen Plus® process simulators for improved overall process design and operation.
