Tom is the founder and CEO of 1800Tshirts.com, one of the nation’s leading custom apparel manufacturers. A business he started in his parents basement after graduating from the University of Dubuque.He is co-founder of Dimensional Brewing Company, a craft brewery and taproom in Dubuque, Iowa.Tom has a great passion for sports and is sponsored by Got Chocolate Milk? running marathons and ultramarathons throughout the World. With this passion he launched Driftless Brand outdoor apparel company with a focus on trail running and donating a portion of every sale to trail conservation and maintenance. Recognized Worldwide for his marketing stunts, most notably breaking the Guinness World Record for wearing the most t-shirts at once with 247 t-shirts.He serves on the board of directors for the Eastern Iowa Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce, Mercy Health Foundation, Dubuque Men’s Association, and Dubuque Community YMCA/YWCA. He has been recognized for Inc. 5000, Dubuque Rising Star award, 365 Impact Award for Community Pride, University of Dubuque Alumni of Merit, JCI Outstanding Young Iowan, Young Professionals Business of the Year, Movers, Shakers, & Newsmakers, and Chamber Member’s Choice Award for Excellence in Social Media and Business of the Year.Tom and his wife Amanda started the Rauen Family Foundation with a mission to giving back to the community.
