The service also actively monitors the current state of the device and reports anomalies detected.Linux Development:Developed and maintained the debian package used to update the player side application code. The package utilized systemd services to maintain and run the core software stacks. Flexibility is essential for the job, traveling anywhere from 60%-90% of the time supporting the entire United States. Individual Projects:Developed and wrote an automatic quoting tool in VB for pricing and evaluating Cognex Logistic installation projects. The quoting tool significantly reduces the turn around time for producing a cost of integration and allows for a streamlined documentation of each system quoted. In addition the tool generates custom made sheets for the integrator to fill out and document during the installation. Thus providing a completely traceable workflow from start to finish of a single project.Created 3D CAD drawings in Solidworks of camera frame design to help allow for visualization/testing of proposed solutions and to generate bill of material. Additionally designed custom excel file for part look up and pricing of 8020 part numbers.

    Independently wrote python scripts and libraries that drastically simplified and automated the manual stream building process for the IBM SPSS Modeler. Met with local customer weekly to discuss script requirements and perfect functionality. The scripts performed an array of tasks:- Reading excel files.- Applying complex alogrithms against excel fed data.- Reading and writing to Oracle databases.- Dynamically created Clem scripting files to build the streams. Using the scripts allowed the stream builder an average time savings of around 4 hours of work.Was part of the third place team for EnerNOC's FedEX day challenge. In 24 hours the team created a working prototype of a small site server that could read power consumption from an outlet, display the integral data, and give the user the ability to switch the outlet on or off in EnerNOC's portal. The project used low cost commercial products. Worked with a Raspberry PI, 2 wireless X-Bees, a current transformer, and relay switch.
