I was fortunate to be exposed to Lean methods as a college student and I have been honored to introduce Continuous Improvement thought processes to over 80 different organizations as a Lean coach. I focus on three pillars to ensure successful Lean Business transformations: employee engagement, culture change, and eliminating waste from processes. Using a TPS framework and Lean methods such as DFT (Mixed-Model Line Design), Hoshin Kanri, 6S, Leader Standard Work (LSW), bowling charts, and Kamishibai ensured consistency across the multi-site engagements I have led. Keeping a servant leader mindset and acting with humility allowed me to be successful in creating cultures of improvement across multiple sites. This guidance has led to multi-million dollars in savings with client organizations. By coaching site leaders, business owners, and executives to change their mindset, they discover they can turn their employees into daily problem solvers and succeed as a team. My success in leading successful business transformations comes from engaging, empowering, inspiring, and motivating people to think differently, ask why, and hold themselves accountable to succeed beyond their comfort zone!
