Tom Ryan is a Vice President in the Basketball Strategy group at the National Basketball Association. His role at the League Office is to manage the Technology and Innovation function, which focuses on advancing and growing the game through cutting-edge initiatives, products, and partnerships.Previously at the NBA, Tom worked in the Global Strategy department and focused on evaluating and implementing a broad range of strategic and financial initiatives across the NBA, WNBA, and G-League, including developing strategies to drive organic and partnership-led growth in existing and new business lines.Before joining the NBA, Tom worked in management consulting, investment management, and as the founder of a technology startup.
