Working on international marketing campaigns to support the recruitment of international students to Leeds Beckett University. Tasks include:- Devising and managing creative projects and plans- Copy writing for international audiences- Managing global ambassadors- Producing marketing publications, merchandise and other materials- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders- Tracking effectiveness of marketing activity- Managing communication with international students through CRM- Maintaining and updating the international web pages

Responsibilities included:- Develop, implement and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns to target theinternational market;- Develop and manage a CRM communications plan and ensure all messages areconsistent across all forms of communications;- Support integrated conversion plans to maximise conversion opportunities;- Recruit and manage a temporary member of staff to support international marketingactivities;- Manage Global Ambassador programme with the aim of increasing engagement withinternational enquirers and applicants- Work with Design Team to produce physical promotional materials including adverts,guides, posters and other merchandise- Work with Digital Team to maximise online / social media opportunities- Promote our key messages and showcase our University creatively through a suite ofinternational marketing materials, video and still testimonials and referral sites- Represent the Marketing Service at International Office Management Team meetings

This role was based in the International Office and required me to liaise and maintain contact with overseas agents, produce monthly and bi-annual electronic publications aimed at overseas agents, attend recruitment fares at international colleges in the UK, write material for the international webpages including detailed advice and information on the points-based visa requirements, deal with enquiries from students and agents in person, by telephone and by email, process the payment of commission invoices to agents and managing a team of part-time staff made up of current students. I left the university in August 2010 in order to undertake six months of world travel.

During this time I revamped theinternational scholarship application process to an entirely online system, organiseda presentation event for the scholarship winners, provided help and advice toprospective students from all over the world and assisted in training new users in theuniversity's customer relationship management system. I also managed and wrotecopy for the international scholarship webpages.
