Was brought on initially as a consultant, but then led the engineering of a new mobile app from the ground up. Hired and built a team of engineers to develop a new mobile platform using React Native and Node Typescript code as the architect of an advanced statistical real estate platform.The company exited successfully and sold the code and IP.

Lead developer on the Dr. Right project. Building out a new application front page with a team of developers. Coordinated and coached developers to build components necessary to stand up the application in a reasonable timeline.

Worked on key applications in React. Helped convert older UI written in Angular to React. Implemented features and fixed bugs on the UHC React Native Mobile app. Worked in JavaScript and TypeScript.Conducted interviews and helped select better hiring questions for potential new team members.

Lead developer of StrataSphere Benchmarking. Built an application to compare health systems on over 30 key performance metrics. Developed a React dashboard to work on desktop and mobile. Built custom data visualizations in React using web SVGs along with using popular 3rd party charting libraries to form a modern analytics look. Created a Python Flask server and calculation engine on the back end to generate “Benchmark” comparisons for hospitals. Later rewrote the back end in C# entity framework. Worked closely with other development teams to implement a new CICD pipeline and authentication system.Helped lead the formation of a new scrum team, run meetings, imagine and iterate on new ideas for data science powered applications, and build and present prototypes to product management as well as clients.Built visualizations on COVID era hospital volumes that were later published as a study and used as promotional material for the company. Used Tableau and other software to generate visualizations.

Created and maintained 50+ core components for company UI library and assisted in the creation of React applications as well as conducting employee training using new front end technologies. Led the developer intern program, conducted agile meetings, and helped them grow as future developers.

I taught a variety of technology classes to high school aged students. The curriculum included CS principles, Python, Javascript, After Effects, Photoshop, Blender 3D, and much more. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I ran the Caravan Broadcast Network. It was an online streaming service for our many sports at the school. I was a STEM club moderator. I built my own teaching curriculum and was a very popular teacher having taught over 300 students in just 2 years.
