My primary responsibilities involve serving Faith Lutheran Church in Knob Noster, Missouri. St. Paul's and Faith have recently entered into a partnership agreement to provide Pastoral care and service. I am responsible for planning and leading worship, teaching Bible class, visiting folks who are sick and shut-in, developing and leading strategies for outreach into the community and care for our members.

• Hired, trained, and supervised a staff of 9 paraprofessional student staff members who were responsible for 340 students in our residence hall. • Formed partnerships with stakeholders in the academic departments connected to our building’s learning communities to serve those students in their academic and social development. • Served as the primary hearing officer for all code of conduct violations by the students living in the residence hall. Reviewed information reports, scheduled and conducted hearings, assigned and coordinated educational sanctions. • Responsible for budget management of residence hall programming and operating funds• Advised the residence hall government executive committee

As the Graduate Assistant for Student Leadership I was primarily responsible for advising and overseeing the three leadership organizations within University Student Housing. This included supervising two student staff members and advising executive board members for the Residence Halls Association, National Residence Hall Honorary, and the Student Staff Council. The position included large budget oversight, departmental paperwork, departmental committee service and organizing events, contracts, and facility reservations. During my time as the GASL I was also a member of the Directorate for the Standing Committee for Graduate Students and New Professionals in ACPA.

I was responsible for the oversight and operations of a small residence hall on the University of Nebraska Kearney campus. This position involved hiring and supervising three student staff members, partnering with our neighboring building to coordinate on-call and duty rotations, hiring and supervising front desk workers, training staff and providing ongoing professional development opportunities to increase staff skills in educating their residents and being comfortable in responding to emergencies. I was also responsible for weekly one-on-one meetings with the staff members, completing departmental reports, overseeing the hall budget, and advising the hall council.
