I worked at Broadview Mortgage for 16 years, primarily managing capital markets, post-closing (shipping through insuring), and product development.Accountable for all Secondary Marketing activity, including loan pricing, lock and hedge management, loan sales, document and collateral shipping and post funding.Managed hedge position, developed relationships with traders, and made MBS trades directly. Worked with hedge advisory firms analytic reports.Oversaw new product development, including the relationships with new investors, selection of new programs, finding best execution and the negotiation of contracts for assignment of trade, mandatory locks and bulk sales.

Established Appraisal Department to comply with HVCC (now Appraisal Independence Regulations) including the addition of an in-house Appraisal Panel, hiring and training of department staff, appraiser contracts and- training, development of appraisal tracking system, compliance with appraisal independence regulations.Selected and trained existing staff to create analytics using Crystal Reports (SQL based reporting), enabling department managers to receive custom reports and reduce demands on IT department.

Managed secondary marketing department.Hired, trained and supervised a team to staff daily operations including: the production of daily rate sheets; management of locked loan pipeline; best execution sales of closed loans; shipping; and document follow-up.Assisted expansion of retail channel from 4 net branches in 2004 to 18 in 2009 and aided the 2005 addition of a wholesale channel. Annual volume increased from $200mm in 2004 to over $1.4 billion in 2012.Developed rate sheets and set-up an electronic loan pricing system for multiple channels. Assisted the development of a paperless imaging, reducing the time required to ship a closed loan files.
