We are at the dawn of a semantic interoperability revolution, particularly in the field of healthcare IT. Imagine being able to take any complex and sophisticated healthcare query/application and being able to run it on any healthcare institution's data. Imagine being able to aggregate the results across any population – within an individual healthcare institution, across a collection of healthcare institutions (e.g. hospital network, ACO, health information exchange) across a city, county, state, country, etc. Imagine being able to run queries/applications not only within a single domain like healthcare, but across ANY domain too. Anyone with an IT background would consider this impossible... a pipe dream.I am the inventor of a technology called TCSQL, that resulted in a number of patents involving use of relational database technology to solve a number of graph theory problems. These initial patent ideas and another 30 patent-able ideas have resulted in a new paradigm that has been described as the "Holy Grail". Through the use of ontologies and graph theory cleverness, TCSQL enables unprecedented semantic and computing interoperability within and across enterprise systems. Imagine being able to type in a question like "how many people in Illinois have an autoimmune disease" and potentially getting the answer in seconds/minutes. This is what TCSQL technology enables. Today's search engines cannot do this. Search engines today only return links to existing documents. A team of highly skilled professionals would have had to spend weeks/months performing analysis and publishing the results in a public document on the internet before any search engine today could return a link to such a document. This disruptive new technology promises to revolutionize many industries. Attached is a video of a web application called Google-Rx that uses TCSQL. Please visit Divine-Inspirations.com to hear more about this exciting technology.

Founder And CeoDivine Inspirations Llc Jan 2013 - PresentDivine Inspirations was formed in January 2013 and officially incorporated as an LLC in April of 2015. Divine Inspirations has utilized a new disruptive technology called TCSQL in the development of powerful knowledge-inference-based applications. The first TCSQL-based application, called Google-Rx, enables the ability for a layperson to answer, in seconds/minutes, compelling healthcare questions that would normally take a team of highly skilled technical professions days/weeks/months to answer. Whereas search engines like Google return links to pre-existing unstructured data (i.e. text documents). Google-Rx returns realtime-computed structured data (i.e. tables of data). Google-Rx utilizes 5 patents, an additional 30+ patentable concepts, NLP, and a collection of healthcare ontologies containing over 8 million healthcare terms and over 32 million semantic relationships between these terms. These ontologies enable the ability to classify underlying healthcare facts (e.g. claims data, drug harm data) into millions of categories... thereby enabling the ability to answer millions of arbitrarily long and complex healthcare questions.Demonstrations of Google-Rx can be found on www.Divine-Inspirations.com. -
Senior Sql DeveloperD&W Fine Pack Apr 2017 - Sep 2017EDI Order Automation: Gathered customer requirements, designed, implemented, and tested system to support D&W Fine Pack LLC order entry automation. Implementation featured creation of an EDI database, extraction of EDI 850 XML documents from SPS Commerce, use of XSLT style sheets to flatten the XML documents, loading of the flattened XML documents into source data warehouse tables, and execution of SSIS ETL packages to map the source data to target data warehouse tables. Target data warehouse tables served as source to 5 ERP systems. System replaced the manual work of 12 customer service representatives. Designed and implemented EAI database. Database featured ability to query data generated from process steps executed in the population of target data warehouse tables. Process data included SQL Job agent tasks, task steps, SSIS packages, stored procedures called within SSIS packages, tables populated via stored procedure execution, columns and indexes associated with populated tables.

Senior DeveloperUnited Airlines Sep 2016 - Dec 2016Worked remotely as a consultant to United Airlines on a project providing workstation provisioning. Project architecture featured use of SQL Server stored procedures, SQL Service Broker, and SQL Job Agent. Developed messaging system that provided the ability to capture all possible messages associated with a process and to use those messages to drive both the run-time response to error conditions encountered and to automatically generate documentation of the run time system. In conjunction with the messaging system, I developed a sophisticated automatic regression test system that featured ability to automatically generate test scripts covering the full set of parameter value permutations of the run time system and the ability to use those to regression test the system whenever software changes were made to the system.

Ssis Designer/DeveloperPsav May 2016 - Aug 2016Developed SSIS packages that mapped data from Oracle and SQL Server transactional and reference systems to a data warehouse that served as the input source to an Anaplan budgeting system. Technologies included SSIS, C#, and T-SQL. Packages featured sophisticated audit, balance, and control (i.e. ABC) modules to track which packages were currently running, when a package last successfully executed, how many records were inserted or updated from a given task, executed, whether the actual results matched the expected results, etc.

Partner, Co-Founder, And Chief ScientistPark Street Solutions May 2005 - Jan 2013Inventor of Park Street's knowledge representation foundation. This foundation, based upon the TCSQL technology first invented at Kindred-Connections, enabled the use of large government ontologies like UMLS to ontologically categorize EHR data, consequently reducing the complexity of EHR data from tens of thousands of database tables down to tens of tables. Use of TCSQL’s transitive closure enabled powerful and sophisticated subsumption, inference, polymorphic, and path queries that drove Park Street’s clinical query and analytics capabilities.

Ceo And FounderKindred-Connections Jul 2001 - May 2005Inventor of TCSQL. This relational database technology features incremental maintenance of the transitive closure for directed acyclic and cyclic graphs. A sophisticated modeling layer uses the transitive closure to implement a soft schema, providing relational support for object oriented programming (OOP) concepts such as classes, objects, inheritance, and polymorphism. This foundation enables powerful subsumption, inference, polymorphic, and path queries that drive sophisticated navigation and analytics capabilities over complex ontological structures. The ability to directly support OOP using relational technology has been the Holy Grail of the relational database industry. TCSQL removes the need for object-relational mapping (ORM) technologies such as Hibernate and removes the need for competing technologies such as NoSQL and graph database technologies. Use of TCSQL has demonstrated a 100x reduction in software maintenance and 1000x reduction in data store complexity.

Distinguished Member Of Technical StaffBell Labs/Lucent Technologies 1981 - Dec 1999Murray Hill, Nj, UsRelational Database Algorithms: Developed graph algorithms that resulted in 5 patents. Received “Database technology of the year” award at Computer Associate’s CA-World conference. Article published in the Bell Labs Technical Journal.Process/Project Management System: Lead architect of process/project management system used to track the development of multiple large telecommunications projects. This system used C and Ingres database technologies.Database Language And Interpreter: Designed a declarative/procedural CAE/CAD database programming language and implemented a corresponding language interpreter written in C. The programming language featured the ability to store SQL-like query results into data structures and to perform arithmetic, relational, and boolean operations on these data structures procedurally through sequential, branch, and loop language constructs. Language featured the support of a collection of operators whose syntax and semantics were user-modifiable. Interpreter also featured dynamic loading of user-definable operators, support of typeless operands, automated memory management and string manipulation, and support of associative arrays. Interpreter implemented operations as a stack architecture.Constraint-Driven Electronic Design: Led team in designing the next-generation CAE/CAD system for the entire laboratory. Designed and developed a CAE/CAD electronic circuit design paradigm that allowed a designer to define constraints on design tasks using a high-level declarative/procedural database programming language (described above). The framework provided a foundation for support of design tradeoff analysis. -
