My career at Tierra has been an exciting 5 years which was out of my imagination. Through hard work, an inquisitive mind and valuable mentoring, I rose to a Business Development role which brought me across Asia to numerous countries. The excitement of new possibilities, negotiating and closing new project fuels me with immense satisfaction.During my stint, I closed some of the firm's largest projects and had experiences of even following up on prospects for up to 3 years that eventually resulted in a project with them. I soldiered on with gruelling design consultant selection process for months which resulted in the largest mixed-used residential project in our portfolio.One great experience is organising a business development trip to India where we visited Clients both new and existing to build ties and increase awareness. A solid client base and constantly growing our network is not only an essential part of Business Development but could also be a lifesaver in turbulent times.I have also coordinated and managed large projects with Project Managers in our office when language is a barrier. It is also at Tierra where I learnt to present the various stages of design to Clients.
