Data was then parsed and migrated to a database to generate reports for senior level managers and resulted in Data Center uptime reliability of 99.999% for 3 consecutive years (2006/2007/2008).-Designed and administered custom escalation lists for all critical equipment. Using BACnet and SMTP, the BMS would send alarms to the CMMS reporting various issues (e.g. “Loss of Power to UPS”, “Leak Detected in CRAC Unit”). The CMMS would relay the alarms to engineers via blackberries and handheld devices. The recipient could then acknowledge the alarm and halt the escalation. If they did not respond to the alarm, it would escalate all the way to Sr. level Asset Managers and Customers. The alarms and associated responses were tied to Service Level Agreements with several Fortune 500 companies.-Developed and implemented naming conventions for all buildings, suites, and associated critical equipment (Air Conditioners, Air Handler Units, Diesel Generators, Power Distribution Units, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, et al).-Created custom forms within the CMMS based on business requirements. Also migrated legacy data to the system using SQL Server and MS Access, allowing end-users to populate forms, create schedules, and perform various other administrative tasks.
